Frànçois & The Atlas Mountains.

I caught this french band last night at Pitchfork in Paris and was highly impressed with them. At gigs, I often find I phase in and out of giving my full attention to bands but these guys were just too catchy to pass. They replaced Chairlift, who because of Ms. Hurricane Sandy were stuck in New York. They were definitely one of the most exciting bands of the night, full of life dancing and hopping around the place.

Might I add, how well Pitchfork is designed. Other festivals should take note. Two stages are on either end of a large hall and it means there is no wait time between the acts! Uninterrupted music, no clashes and it’s easy for festival-goers to manouver between both stages! Result!

Here are two tracks from their album E Volo Love…
