I’m not the biggest jewellery wearer in the world. I tend to go weeks without wearing anything and then I’ll suddenly remember to wear something like a necklace or earrings. In terms of my favourite types of jewellery, I think that simple is better. I really like understated modern pieces. I do like the odd chunky statement piece, Penneys and Zara being two I haunt for said pieces. Continue reading →
Continuing on from my post yesterday on the newly opened Tiger Stores in Dublin, I thought I would show you all a few of my purchases from the store. I took not one but two trips to Tiger in two days and I’m so tempted to head back in again but I need to stop while I’m still ahead! I mentioned before what a delight the store in terms of products, value and customer experience. If you want to see what the lovely Rachel got in her Tiger Haul then head over to her blog A Pretty Obsessionfor a cute haul! Continue reading →
I have to say that nothing gets me more excited that the onslaught of the autumn/winter months. I love layering up my clothes and feeling snug and comfortable in winter woolies. I went autumn-shopping the past few weeks and here are a few of the bits I picked up. Continue reading →
It’s day sixteen of #SBBC and today is all about wishlists. I love making wishlists and reading these kind of posts on other blogs. For this one I’ve focused on clothing and beauty, so let’s get started!
Nothing makes me more happy than a new pair of shoes. You all know what I mean. I find it incredibly hard to buy flats. They never fit both my feet perfectly thanks to one foot being bigger. They often cut my pinky toe or blister my heels. Moreover, I don’t really wear flats because they don’t offer enough support. So then, why did I end up buying these plastic flats? Continue reading →
I’m heading for dinner and drinks soon to celebrate my breithlá today. And I thought I’d do a quick OOTD to show you all my style. I’m a pretty simplistic dresser and mostly I go for comfort especially when it’s gonna be a long night (and it’s midweek). Featured above are my River Island heels, H & M Blazer, Gap Tee, American Eagle Jeans, Sally Hansen Polish and Dunnes Stores sea shell necklace. Too casual or just right?!
I know, I know….I need feck all more shoes but..but… there are no buts. I just really wanted them. The black flatforms are from Penneys and are probably not everyone’s cup of tea but I just really wanted them for summer days when I roll up my boyfriend jeans. Morever, they will be super easy to walk in. As for the Dunnes Stores ankle boots, well I haven’t stopped wearing them since I got them! They are so comfy and go with pretty much everything in my wardrobe. These set me back a very reasonable €30 (they aren’t leather btw) and the Penney’s sandals cost €15.
Have you splashed out on any new shoes lately? And moreover, what do you think of these two?!!
March’s Wishlist is short and sweet. I’m a huge fan of Free People’s lingerie, they are always so comfortable, cute and sexy. Pinafore dresses are not everyone’s cup of tea (and denim ones at that) but I love love love this dress and have tried it on multiple times and imagined myself with a plan white tee underneath and cute converse. The J Crew tee screams luxury, and lately I’ve been mad into navy so it ticks all boxes! And those pumps, well how can one not lust after them?!
What’s on your wishlist folks? Anything similar to mine, or am I just bizarre in my choices?! Do tell!
Hey all, I’ve been doing a small bit of clothes shopping lately, and thought I’d show you a few of the things I got. I did my shopping online with ASOS and in ASDA when I was down the North. ASDA’s clothing brand George is cheap and cheerful, perhaps not the most fashion-forward but it can be great for the basics like tops, trousers and little lingerie bits.
As for ASOS, well this was my first online shop with them and I was incredibly impressed. Some of their clothing is just not my style-short short skirts, crop tops…but I’m slowly growing to love some of their cute dresses and tops. Delivery was quick, prices were reasonable and items purchased were as advertised. I am just in love with these trainers, so bright and colourful and it makes a change from wearing Converse 24/7!
Afternoon everyone, thought I’d show you a few of my favourite dresses from the Golden Globes 2013. Delighted for the amazing Lena Dunham on winning and the increasingly handsome Ben Affleck on his best director win for Argo. Was one of my favourite films from 2012. If I had to pick Jessica, Zosia and Kerry would be in my top three. What were your favourite dresses or who dressed the worst?!

Naomi Watts in Zac Posen, Kate Hudson in Alexander McQueen & Emily Blunt in Michel Kors.Kerry Washington in Miu Miu and Chopard, Jennifer Garner in Vivienne Westwood Couture and Amy Adams in Marchesa.
